How can the recall process be Democratic when those initiating the recall can pay professional signature gatherers to make it happen. We need to greatly raise the threshold.

I just spent the last 15 minutes on the website of the SF ethics cimmission trying to find any evidence of a contribution to the Chesa recall by someone named "Shorensyein." So far no evidence.

Corection: "Shorenstein"

The Shorenstein family owns - or used to own - the Best of Broadway theater series in San Francisco. Don’t know if it’s the same person.

I want to thank CARA for providing this very stimulating forum and thank both Don du Bain and Richard Corriea for their participation. I'm against the recall, but I really wanted to hear a fair presentation of both sides, and I think both Don du Bain and Richard Corriea well articulated their "side" on the recall. Thank you.

I think the recall is one of those things that makes me think that rich people can really drive the law and politics in the direction they want
