Another Factor: how developed the actuarial professional space is in the country you are coming back to. Easier today in Kenya for example, than 15 years back. The pioneers have already done the 'rough' work to get the market warmed up for your return!

In terms of regulation, how easy is it to navigate the regulatory requirements? Is there by any chance any global African regulation like the SII?

Consulting has been done. It was not easy for TRI STAR Consulting in GHANA. But ultimately its founder, Kwasi Osei became Director General of SSNIT.
