What I did not mention is that we also organise facility-based Palliative Care Workshops using the Pain-free Hospital Initiative curriculum. Residents in Family Medicine also do a 2 week rotation in Palliative Medicine in their residency training, while Fellowship residents in Family Medicine, Pain (Anaesthesia) and Oncology do a 4 week rotation in Palliative Medicine.
