CEPRO SITE info: raised community garden planters along 11th Ave S, a drinking fountain with hose spigot, new interior park trails, site furnishings, wayfinding, and a stage/performance area. The project is currently in pre-design and next steps include: creation of a project page and notifying community stakeholders of the project, concept design and community engagement, detailed design, bidding, and construction. These improvements will utilize $300,000 in escrow funds from the land transfer with Hennepin County, which need to be expended by December 31, 2022.

That’s great Becky! It should be a process coordinated with Midtown. This was before my time in being involved, but a huge NRP project.

There’s already really great rates for residents. There are also free suits! I agree with Becky about ease of applications is necessary.

Maybe we could partner with the radio stations within black and brown communities to get the word out.
