Do we have an idea of when these communities that will receive targeted assistance to address unsheltered homelessness will be announced?

a couple questions about the federal plan that came into the menti: 1) the goals are laudable, but what can be done to change the funding structure for homeless services? Our agency receives HUD dollars through 7 different entities, leaving few admin dollars for actual service providers; 2) since the federal plan is to reduce homelessness by 25% by 2025 compared to 2020, how did we do in 2022 compared to 2020?

The idea of a method to provide ongoing feedback easily is really helpful

In our community we are working on a no wrong door approach to homelessness, but we are finding that most of our participants are in need of case management for rrh, psh, and even in prevention.

How are we planning to provide services for the mentally challenged?

Is there an effort to increase or expand FYI & FUP Vouchers for youth transitioning from HHS supervision?

So our programs are right sized and clients receive the support needed. Are the dollars increasing for Case Management since the cost of living has increased exponentially in a lot of areas?

Were the figures being spoken about just now accounting just for chronic homelessness or also housing insecurity?

There is somewhat related to the coordination needed with DHS, but having HUD requirements/expectations to provide Services Coordinators onsite in public housing would help bridge a gap linking residents to services & supports.
