Effective Realationships

personal relationships that is what my students have the most difficulty with

We usually start with the Effective Relationship area and then move to workplace skills.

As an English teacher, soft skills along with business communications

I think that effective relationships relate to all skills

my students act out a lot, so it is not so much the part of the social studies lesson. It's more conversation about how to handle the situation better after they melt down

It's a constant work in progress with my students because we go out in the workplace on various internships starting the second month of school. It's fluid and changes every year based on skills and needs of my students

Use it primarily with students who are hoping to earn the CDOS credential.

Curriculum staff is trying to get people to use it throughout the year…

After we develop relationships. many of my students are seniors so transitioning to the workplace is natural

I haven't used the whole EP with students because it is lengthy and my students are IEP, but we do go through important categories each Friday.

We are starting to use it with our Digital Badging and Credentialing program. This program partners students with area businesses. The profile will showcase the student's accomplishments.
