Does brand registry mean you have to have your brand printed on the product? Or it just means you register your own brand but able to sell common items?

Hi Mia Santos, I would suggest you use Jungle Scout - because it doesn't mean if your product is in-demand I mean trending product but if you won't optimize your product listing you won't win over the other sellers in the Amazon Page Search Result, If you won't track your keywords and improve your listing you won't have any chance to show up in the first page of amazon when people search for a certain keywords on Amazon

how do we go about brand registration/trademarking? How much does it cost?

I am Sadasivam from singapore, Selling in USA marketplace. I have launched my first product last year. I tried to increase my sales all the ways. But what ever may be the quantity of unis sold the advertisement cost exceeds the sales cost. I dont understand how to sell in here with atlease minimum profit? Without profit selling dont have any meaning?? Any suggestions??

@TC - @Ai Ling, for Singapore you can register via IPOS takes about ~$400/500 and around 9months to 1 year to get approval.

can you give an example? Like if i want to sell a water bottle that other sellers are selling too i would not be able to register my brand for the product right? It has to be something new and exclusive ?

Thanks Phillips, I tried all keywords , but still selling less. The competition is high and about 65 sellers selling the same category. But the logic of increasing advertisement doesnt seems to bring more sales.....looks a bit strange to me....

have you tried betting on keywords with 300 search volume. have you check if all keywords are saturated? or try product targeting instead?

I’m also based in the Philippines and registered my trademark in the U.S. too. Found a lawyer in Fiverr who processed everything for me. Cost me around $500.

I use Scale Insights... It helps in reducing the bids automatically based on sales... But still I am struggling to get profit... Loosing lot of money in PPC...

How hijacking a listing really works? Is it like anyone can sell another person's ASIN without brand registry and simply change the listing? Why wouldn't Amazon's system restrict that then?

@rui hong but C&D letter doesn't really have any legal obligations on Amazon right? As in I heard there are hijackers who totally ignored it and there's nothing you can do about it right?

i think i tried listing a product using existing ASIN from another seller without knowing i am actually ‘hijacking’ until the seller contacted me to take out my listing. I followed instructions on Amazon. Since it was an existing product sold on Amazon, it stated not to create a new ASIN but use an existing one. The product listing thing is kind of confusing

Gratia Equator INternational).my question is :- I already have account in Amazon Seller, now the current status in the progress of Amazon Brand Registry,- I plan to sell Roasted Bean Coffee,but my question is*). because Amazon has not office in Indonesia, so sometimes when I get stuck on the amazon technically, where should I ask ? because the amazon seller customer service is not too familiar for us, and sometimes I have challenge dynamically on the field, - in example the problem when add product , (I had 10 sku), but I want to make using Style / Varian, but I already register one by one sku, how to change it?*). so kind like technical like this, I cannot find in help / support amazon, sometimes I must ask by phone / email, but I do not know where to ask.please give me advice for this, so I could have easier support to accomplished my amazon seller account until ready to sell well, with good setting from earlier.

How do we solve 1 star rating in a new product as a new seller? I have tried to reach out amazon but they advise me to submit feedback removal requests through Feedback Manager. But there is no data shown In my Feedback Manager. After that 1 star rating, our sales dropped. Can anyone assist?
