A lot
Bob Stromberg
01:30:30
Would like to see data indicating how vulnerabilities are detected, mitigations accompllshed, and re-tests successfully carried out. And... fixing, again, if necessary, when mitigations did not quite succeed. I think this is normal process improvement in large orgs and can be presented as a vigorous, eyes-wide-open approach to managing for security.
Bob Stromberg
01:31:18
How successful is “zero trust' being implemented in election administration environments?
Bob Stromberg
01:32:30
I heard mention of 2FA (MFA). How are authentication schemes (like Yubikey, like Apple's software-based authentication methods) being presented to election admiins? Are they being convinced?
Bob Stromberg
01:33:25
Are employees allowed to use their personal cell phones for 2FA/MFA? How are those phones secured, such as to prevent a SIM-card swap?
Bob Stromberg
01:34:24
I'm hoping answers to these questions are already published and y’al can provide a link!
Luis Escalante, Jr.
01:35:52
Bob, is your first question related to voting system vulnerabilities?
Bob Stromberg
01:36:27
Voting systems + voter registration systems.
Bob Stromberg
01:37:08
Worth noting that CVEs are not mentioned w/r/t voting machines, except for the small list mentioned by J. Alex Halderman's report on the Dominion ICE.
Bob Stromberg
01:38:34
See the CISA version of Halderman's report: https://www.cisa.gov/uscert/ncas/current-activity/2022/06/03/cisa-releases-security-advisory-dominion-voting-systems-democracy
