We use Freshservice as well and it addresses many of those same things.

Making UDL principles and digital tools part of the process the instructional team use to plan professional learning for staff.

We are starting with Special Ed but looking at other options for the devices - but they have to be devices we already have - Chromebooks, large screen Chromebooks, laptops, or iPads.....also looking at communication devices for some students but those are mainly iPads

How can we create systems where students are supporting students which can free teachers up to focus on instruction?

We issue iPads to grades Prek-1, Chromebooks to 2nd-12. We issued HP laptops to our high school Early college students.

We started our rollout with touch screen Chromebooks and then purchased non-touch screen because they were less expensive and more readily available. Our students hated the non-screen ones and they let us know it. We are now fully touch screen.

As a classroom teacher, I can't emphasize the importance enough of spending time in classrooms to really understand the experience from the learner perspective. Make sure the instructional view has a seat at the table when building systems.
