Nice to be here with all of you. I’m with the NYC DOE CTE team. Looking forward to learning together with all of you today.

Three things that bring me joy: yoga as well, when people who I work with say thank you, writing

My children, teaching and skiing

Joy- family, exercising with my boyfriend, music

Grateful for: my friends, my family, my life

Watching and being a part if student success, completing goals that I set for myself, my daughter’s kind heart. Grateful for a roof over my head, a job, my God’s love and blessings.

Seeing my students succeed, spending time with my family and spending time doing outside activities

Grateful for Family, My life and being able to work with young people

I love that concept.

Taking time to slow down & be present in the moment.

Started listening more to understand and not responding.

Started taking horseback tiding lessons for myself.

Taking time at the end of each day to self reflect. Ask myself did I do all that I can do to support my students and have an inclusive environment. What could I have done differently or better?

Trying to have personal down time after work distraction free for 30 min -45 min

Aviation HS also has been looking at sustainability.

Focus on problem solving

ED Tech has been doing some of this but not as much transfer in the public school sector as much.
