I cannot see your slide with feedback

33:37
Joy, here's the summary of concerns:
Helen Gerhardt | Lawrenceville United | she/her
33:48
Thunderbird is an important arts and music venue for Lawrenceville and the City, but they have an impact on neighbors.Patrons take up precious on-street parking, sometimes when residents need it mostPre- and post-show impacts: patrons being loud, discarding beer bottles, throwing up, public urination, litterIdling tour buses in rearNoise from shows escaping along Eden WaySidewalk issues - lines blocking access, concerns around smokingCompliance with existing commitments & ability to address issues directly
Eric Kellar
36:16
Sorry! Im at my store and didn’t realize I was not on mute.
Paul Alessio
36:42
The new City requirement for reduced parking - does it pertain to clubs or restaurants or both?
Lauren Connelly
37:33
It does apply to restaurant general in the lnc district - Thunderbird was approved to be a restaurant general and not public assembly.
Paul Alessio
37:53
LAurne, wasn't that agrred to in the CO?
Sarah States
37:53
I’d like to know how many/what percentage of patrons actually use the valet option per show.
Lauren Connelly
38:49
We can pause to answer a few of these questions before moving on.
Ned Mulcahy
41:07
Regarding occupancy, isn't that a fire code issue? If so, can you provide the absolute maximum allowable number versus the proposed consent order number?
Sarah States
46:25
Thanks.
Ned Mulcahy
47:42
Yes. Thanks.
Kate Lydon
50:54
Having trouble unmuting. Can te bank be used and the building at the river with the giant Eagle sign and could visitors have to have a stamped receipt to enter the show forcing them to parked in designated locations
Kate Lydon
53:20
What if the receipt was mandatory even with the other valet spot they held previously
Paul Alessio
53:25
Can the Thunderbird show the nearby parking lots (e.g., Tech Mill) on their website?
Paul Alessio
55:24
Would like to request Thunderbird collect data on how their clientele arrived at the venue.
Paul Alessio
55:41
Oops - you just answered that.
Armin Samii
01:08:25
Do they have decibel meters outside of Thunderbird? It sounds like that's a core issue - and would catch trash being emptied, employees parting, unruly cars, drunk patrons...
Sarah States
01:12:10
I don’t officially endorse this, but there are iPhone apps for which you can measure sound levels.
Sarah States

Paul Alessio
01:12:56
Have the installation of the cameras been verified?
Paul Alessio
01:15:45
Why are we deleting the restriction on takeout liquor sales?
Helen Gerhardt | Lawrenceville United | she/her
01:21:49
FB chat comment from Lucy ElleIn the brainstorming for ideas, it seems a bit awkward that the focus would be on the alcohol rather than on the management of the drunk peoples behaivior when they go home. Isn’t the idea to clear the people out of neighborhood afterwards?
Nicholas Boston
01:21:57
In my experience, there has been a doorman checking persons / bags for firearms at t-bird
James McNeel
01:22:40
Their website states a prohibition against all weapons.
Helen Gerhardt | Lawrenceville United | she/her
01:23:23
FB comment:Dan SchlosserCan say that attending a show this past week we had bags searched and full body scan with what we assume was a metal detector wand. Not sure how that addresses someone with a concealed carry permit, but yes they do check everyone coming through the door.
John Moore
01:25:21
Thanks Dave! This is great! Let’s hope it happens.
Owen Lampe
01:25:44
South Side permit parking is 12:30pm to 2:30 am
Matt Erb
01:26:21
can we get in writing that Thunderbird will not oppose these community parking solutions?
Kate Lydon
01:27:01
I appreciate the update fingers crossed!
Paul Alessio
01:28:13
Can the residential parking only restriction ENFORCEMENT be extended till midnight? I want this to happen before we allow the Thunderbird to expand.
Joy Snyder
01:29:25
Thank you for the info about security measures at the door of TBird
James McNeel
01:29:57
South Side PED meter parking goes to midnight, FYI. It generates significant $$.
Helen Gerhardt | Lawrenceville United | she/her
01:31:33
from Lucy Elle in FB live comment section:Paul, really smart strategy on quid pro quo —a smart way to get the behaviors we want and give them what they want
Paul Alessio
01:33:05
What is the timetable for advancing the revised CO?
Helen Gerhardt | Lawrenceville United | she/her
01:34:43
Concerns raised by a neighbor that lives next to Thunderbird who could not attend the meeting tonight:"I live right next to Thunderbird and the noise is so bad that sometimes my windows rattle.Trucks have damaged my steps and railing multiple times. If more people allowed, people will congregate outside, causing more noise, trash, etc.I've talked with Thunderbird multiple times and they have not repaired damages to my property, and won't ask truck drivers to go into parking lot front first, which would prevent damages to my stairs and railing. In general, all the concerns I've brought to Thunderbird have pretty much been ignored in terms of actual changes.: "
Joy Snyder
01:35:59
I am very concerned about drunk drivers
Joy Snyder
01:37:10
I love Matt's comment about the grill.
Matt Erb
01:37:17
The grill was operating last Wednesday or Thursday
Lauren Connelly, LC
01:41:57
We can send out the original consent order again to all attendees with the potential solutions with the notes for today.
Paul Alessio
01:42:35
Here here Dave!
Paul Alessio
01:49:41
OFF subject - when will the liquor sotre be reopening?
Paul Alessio
01:49:56
sotre = store
James McNeel
01:50:16
The accessible parking spaces applies only when the lot is open — not 24 hours.
Matt Erb
01:53:16
I need to log off, thanks for the conversation.
Paul Alessio
01:54:43
Thanks for having this meeting. I would like to submit written comments to you.
Ned Mulcahy
01:55:16
Thanks a ton.
James McNeel
01:56:42
Just to leave a comment: I support this request by Thunderbird to amend this agreement. I find the negotiations and compromises agreed to by the venue to go above and beyond what most would be willing to do. They are a community asset.

Want to second what James said: it sounds like they are being accommodating. I hope they invest heavily in soundproofing and limiting outdoor noise to address neighbor complaints, and continue to work with artists to make sure they understand the venue is in a neighborhood.
