If I may share that the Autism Society offers the Rancho Adult Group and that is an interactive social group that has a pretty big following for older children. My personal experience is 16 - 29 that I have seen in attendance. There really is something for all participants as the facilitators allow the adult to find an area of entertainment ie; Disney, comic con, karaoke, arts & crafts, etc. while parents are in a separate room and are sharing their experiences.

My three year old has a speech delay thru the school district she hasn't been diagnose medically. Is there any recommendations for me trying to figure things out since things are so new to us.

They can't that's the problem with masks. I know for a fact that humans understand expressions around the facial area. I know that while the eyes can help, they can't convey emotion completely, the mouth reinforces this

However, it's hard to understand emotions when half your face is invisible to others.

I used Blue Shield and Blue Cross for Occupational Therapy and Physical Therapy. Social Skills were through occupational therapy. Insurance paid for office visits like Justine's as well as a weekly program at PVMC. Each insurance is different. Suggestion only

For me personally Ms. Burt, I did not want my child to fall through the cracks of the system but, it was difficult to find support groups and also to be in contact with other families.

And I never understood why it was hard to find support groups for people with Autism. Is it because there isn't enough information available or do people just not want to deal with them?
