Part of the reason I'm attending today and that I sometimes have concerns about how we at EPA talk about environmental justice communities. Using words like "disadvantaged", "vulnerable", etc. I also sometimes feel like labeling communities like SE Chicago as disproportionately impacted by pollution "tattoos" them as undesirable places to live, which could have impacts into the future, even if we do a great job of addressing the pollution. Do you have thoughts on how to describe these communities and these issues?
