My son flaps his hands, swing feet, he paces, makes sounds, sucks thumbs all the time.

what if a child not blind but flapps there hands all time or repeats their words is that normal

My daughter has Sensory Over Responsivity and compulsive behaviors that are repetitive. How do I determine when its a stimming behavior they look very similar?

My son when he is around 1yr, he started looking sideways sometimes and once he turned 3, he started to poke his eye too. It is injurious to eye, so how do I help him cope without injuring eye.

How about young adults. How can parents encourage young adults not stim while at work or college. The young adult in question often goes to the restroom to engage in stimming behavior at home, school, volunteer work etc.

The SIPT test is not normed for children with specific diagnosis. It is normed for children aged 4 years-8 years 11 months. It deciphers the deficits or needs in specific sensory areas.

Why is it hard to ABA therapy? I have been waiting for this therapy for my child? He gets school, OT,PT, Speech, and outside the same, but I am still waiting for this therapy?

The SIPT test could be used for a child with Autism, it is a long assessment and some children are not able to endure the assessment

My son will repeatedly rewind scenes in movies, over and over again... is this stimming?
