The head of the DC Housing Authority resigned recently. Can DCFPI analyze the DC Housing Authority’s deal to give the land that the Housing Authority current headquarters building sits on to developers, instead of building more public housing?Also, the HCHA stated it was looking to lease office space somewhere. Is leasing office space the best option for government agencies; as opposed to using existing government buildings to house DCHA workers and using the money that could go to a lease to fix public housing buildings?
