How is the K class acknowledging or teaching about MLK day this year?

Could someone speak about kindergarten readiness particularly in times of Covid (quarantining, less social opportunities for these kiddos, etc)? How do you know if your kid is ready? We have a young Pre-K and are really struggling with this decision for him.

We have an inquisitive kid who’s already demonstrated high capability. How would she be supported in your kindergarten curriculum, particularly in terms depth of content and pacing as well as maybe even working beyond kindergarten-typical curriculum? What has the experience at Giddens looked like for other similar kids? I’m also curious whether your Learning Services team provides this kind of support.

Do you guys think an advanced child be board in class?

What about the flip side of that with kids who need a little extra help?
