The changes to Spenard Rd didn't consider the high volume traffic to and from West High School.

I agree with Matt. I'd like there to be better connection between CIP ranking, and having those nominations considered in the MTP, rather than requiring folks to nominate projects in every venue

On Fairness, all the traffic to the Mat-Su and Northward goes through East Anchorage, hence traffic congestion, pollution, and low air quality. Would like to see another route pursued and built, i.e. the bridge, and the objection of Government Hill actually be weighed against East Anchorage impacts and their objection automatically cancel the project.

What would I change: Stroads. Benson and Northern lights particularly. Lovin that a lot of people want the 15 minute cities, walkability is so important.

It moves people OUT of downtown instead of keeping them in DT ;)

Downtown in general also doesn't work well for bicyclists. There is no on-street bicycle infrastructure, even though folks need to ride in the roadways

We're finally expanding our bicycle network and incorporating complete streets in new projects-- we need to prioritize and fund more non-motorized projects to get this "working well."

And I know you cannot change speed limits, but let's talk about adding those small curves and waves to slow people down auomatically

How does the MTP plan on dealing with the Merrill Field Runway Protection Zones in Fair View and Airport Heights?

5th and 6th traffic lights are timed to the speed limit but most people haven't figured that out. Not sure how to make that known so that people don't speed for nothing and keep everyone on/under the speed limit.

What is not working is the AMATS boundary. It should be the same as the municipality of anchorage boundary.

Is there a way to import comments in other planning processes? I've added lots of projects to maps over the years... or can you add in the proposed projects already in MTP 2040 or the new TIP proposals? Easier to build off of them..

Intersection of Northern Lights & University Drive not working. Turning lane onto University Dr. going northward changed to 2 lanes, but should be changed to tunnel or overpass.

Going West on Northern Lights and turning left onto University Dr.

New mayor wants to build extension to Bragaw and cut the trails, but taxpayers have spent millions for trails and we don't want that extension. Building tunnel or overpass would solve issue, especially for ambulances not having to stop at traffic light.

Also encourage transit, including rail use.

Besides some year-round freight the Alaska Railroad is mostly used in Summer

Should be used for transit to Valley in winter
