Can you please clarify the four block rule when there is an apartment complex next to a residential neighborhood. Would the petition need to be signed by the apartment residents that are the ones that are filling up the residential street of the single family residential street that cannot park on their street because the apartment residents are not utilizing their carports or have many drivers living in the same unit and each have a car. Doesn't this new proposal not change this issue in our small single family neighborhood.

The City employs part time non-sworn men and women to conduct parking enforcement. While patrol officers do conduct parking enforcement occasionally, it is not their primary duty.

@julie s - The recommendation is to align with the AG's opinion and to include multi-family residences in the whole process including the participation in the petition process and the ability to purchase permits in zones adjacent to their buildings.

I am not clear on the AG's recommendation. The Apartment complex is directly adjacent to our single family homes (shares the same common wall of our backyard). doesn't this recommendation allow them to still fill up our small culdesac street next to their apartments building?
