Is the graduation data requirement only for High Schools?
My graduation data is wrong on school report card. How does wrong data get fixed?
Graduation is only relevant for high schools.
Is this Snapshot required for all Choice schools, or only those schools that Opt-In for the Report Card?
All Choice schools are required to report data using the snapshots
If we have opted into the all school report card. what information/data do we need to include for non-choice students?
PowerSchool sent out a PDF on Monday with the details for their system.
Can you put the "Vendor WISE data Status" link in the chat?
What are the advantages/disadvantages of all school reporting vs only Choice students?
Are we going to see some of the pages and areas in the WISEdata portal being discussed?
Our 2020-2021 Report Card percentages showed 67.8% Hispanic, 21.9% black, 7.7% Asian, and 2.2% white. These were very accurate. Now, the 2021-2022 Report Card indicates we have 0% Hispanic and 64.8% white when in actuality our ethnicity enrollment breakdowns have remained very constant and our demographic reporting procedures remained the same.

Thank you! Could you put the "mini tutorial" in to? the hyperlinks are not accessible through Zoom
I apologize if this has already been answered, but is there a link to the slide deck?
DPI's snapshot prep page: https://dpi.wi.gov/wisedata/schools/snapshot-prep
Does the data need to be less than 5 days old for the snapshot?
Did you say non-choice students need WISE IDs?
SCW will send out the slide deck to everyone later today.
How do we get WISE IDs if they are missing for Choice students?
Who do we talk to if we are getting error messages when we try to add WISEids for our students? Our SIS says the messages are from DPI and not them
Thank you! Does the data from 2020-2021 need to be error free for this snapshot? Is that year included?
DPI wants you to have current data for enrollment/attendance. Other data elements, such as food service status, might not change and that is fine.
Will we ever need to start reporting SNSP students?
WISE IDs are only needed if the student is Choice or if your school has chosen the "all student" report card.
How do you fix a birthdate error if WISEdata and SIS match and I don't know the students previous school?
Would it be OK for me to stay on at the end of this seminar for a follow-up question? I submitted a help ticket over the weekend.
Have both screens up right now. Match exactly
I have a red X for discipline on my summary page. Is it true that only "certain" discipline issues are sent to wise? If so what are those types?
How do I fix an error that says the student does not have an exit date for 2021-22, but my SIS shows an exit date?
Discipline is not a required data element for the Choice schools.
How did you get to the filter?
School Year filter in top left of Data Quality screen.
where do we find the export tool that she keeps referencing?
In WISEdata portal, along the top, one of the tabs is for exports.
How often should we run the update for previous school years? (both 21-22 and 20-21) Or, when can we stop manually running the update for the previous years?
"Consistently" being how often?
If we have opted into the all school report card. Should we be seeing all of our students in the data quality indicators? I am only seeing our choice students enrollment there
Ideally, every 24 hours then? As in your SIS should push data every 24 hours?
I understand now. I will contact our SIS vendor to clarify.
If you've chosen the "all student" report card, you should be seeing all student data in the quality indicators. Contact your SIS vendor if the non-Choice students are not showing up. There might be a field that needs to be checked, also make sure all students have WISEIDs.
Speaking of which, I need to get back to my class now. The recording will be shared with us later today, correct?
SCW will send out the link for today's seminar later today.
Thank you, very helpful, have a good day
Your school must verify dropout rates. I haven't gotten this message before and am not sure what to do. Thanks!
