I heard Greg Boyle, OSB refer to being present in the moment as "Now.Here.This." This mantra has become my reminder to be present.
If you are feeling stressed or overwhelmed in the moment, do you suggest taking a "pause"as part of how to begin mindfulness to cope with those overwhelming feelings? Or how else would you begin to cope using mindfulness...?
I did exactly that with an email from a boss-I didn't respond because I knew that I needed to "pause". Think about how I want to respond vs. knee jerk reactions. Boss expected me to respond ASAP and did question me and I told her that I wanted it to be a mindful response.
