Good Afternoon everyone, We are so happy that you have joined us today. We will be providing an overview of all the recent updates for COVID-19 vaccines. Almost everything that we are discussing today can be found in the CDC clinical considerations. You will hear us refer to the clinical considerations often. Here is a link to the clinical considerations: https://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/covid-19/clinical-considerations/interim-considerations-us.html

Is anyone working on a vaxadvisor such as CDC has an app for pneumonia vaccines where you can enter a patients information, what previous pneumonia vaccines they've had, and it will tell you exactly what / when to administer next. It would be great to have a Covid Vaxadvisor app as this is quite complicated.

Will you be creating/updating the process map you created for COVIS19 Vaccines doses and boosters?

@alane Thank you for that comment and inquiry. I love the pneumococcal vaccine app from CDC as well. It is a great tool. I have not heard of anyone doing a clinical app like this for COVID-19 vaccine. We do have a public tool at the MDHHS website. It is our up to date tool. It can be found at www.michigan.gov/covidvaccineuptodatetool Again, this was geared more for the public. I do love this suggestion.

@kendra Thank you for that question. We are working on updating our clinical tools. At this time we do not have the flow charts anymore but have the infographics that Andrea showed earlier. Both of those infographics can be found at www.michigan.gov/covidvaccine Our clinical document we have on COVID-19 vaccines that is color coded is being looked at and reviewed.

You are welcome. I loved the flow charts and will let the team know that they were asked about.

I have gotten questions about COVID vaccines administered outside of the USA - and how/what vaccinate can be administered next.Pharmacy refused to administer a booster dose....ugh.We referred the pharmacy to the document at: https://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/programs/iis/COVID-19-related-codes.htmlThe pharmacy sent the person to the LHD immz clinic (Oakland county).

Will you be sharing this slide deck?
