Welcome everyone. Thank you for joining in tonight's session.

36:33
What is a realistic expectation in terms of a time frame?

38:09
Everyone, we are asking all questions go in the Q&A tab. This will help us keep track of the questions effectively. Thank you

I am here because I am angry... I was an early supporter of an independent redistricting committee, and was representative of onevirginia2021 at Greenspring retirement community after brian cannon spoke on our campus... but then came the amendment which created a legislative commission, not an independent, citizens commission.... I joined mark levine in opposition to the amendment, because it is NOT an independent commission... and now we have seen the outcome.... and I call it a failure! and now I assume that every 10 years in perpetuity, we will go thru this same charade, and end up in the court... so I am angry.... and brokenhearted... patricia mcgrady, springfield, age 85

Ms McGrady,I don't plan to get angry until and unless we don't get fair maps. That, after all, is the goal.

01:10:26
Thank goodness! I am SO over CityGate.

01:11:11
Can you give some more detailAbout the 11 districts that were cited there? How did you chose those? I think you explained already but I didn’t catch it

01:14:44
It is hard work to push against 400 years of gerrymandering. Just glad we have made a stand and started to turn the tide.

01:18:45
Jahd, the visualization we presented showed the black voting age population, from highest to lowest, for each of the 11 of VA’s congressional districts. One of the takeaways from that visual was that algorithms can help detect departures from “normal” in districting plans.

01:26:23
Glad to see the email. My community of 40+ civic associations can send one specific comment to that email. We do have some specific asks.

01:32:59
