BNC encourages respectful and open communication among participants in its Zoom meetings and its chat conversations. Consider what you would say in a face-to-face situation, and use that notion of civility as your guide, even when you disagree with someone. We request that all meeting participants who use the Chat function identify themselves with their full name, not an alias or simply a first name, just as they would do in any open face-to-face public meeting. Please do not send messages designed solely for commercial purposes in the chat. We are recording this meeting.

Corporate planning for this zoning deregulation transformation has been going on for years -- part of the reason that carpetbagger buffy wicks was installed in AD 15 -- backed by big corporate $$ that funds the Democratic Party - and she becomes the sponsor of SB9

It is important to understand that the roots of property inflation (and stock inflation) are the huge bank and wall street bailouts that funneled money to the uber rich. Their efforts to get capital returns has shifted to financialization and speculation -- especially in assets they can acquire - property and stocks. The corporations make money off asset inflation - blowing up the bubble. Michael Hudson writes extensively about this.

What is contact info. For man in video? So given that we understand the speculator/developer strategy, presuming that SB9 continues to move forward, what strategies can we use to preserve our communities from becoming even less affordable?

The 1915 Berryman Street project where a house is being demolished and an 11 unit building using the Sate Density Bonus Law goes before the ZAB on October 28. The developer's plans include a shadow study. They make it look workable. Where do I go to verify their findings? Any help with concerns about this project would be appreciated.
