Thank you so much. What are the steps to get your license in MD? How long do you have a learners permit, etc? Even just putting a link with the process in the chat would be helpful. I have not found clear guidance on the State of MD website.

You can get your learners permit at 15 and 9 months. But you have to have your permit regardless for 9 months before getting a license. So the earliest is 16 1/2.

You have to take a written test for the learners permit. Then to get a license you must take a certified class, such as I drive smart which includes classroom and driving with professionals.
