A quick informal poll for those on this webinar, we are trying to gauge interest in an in-person Worksite Wellness Conference for 2022. Provided that Covid numbers are significantly lower than they are currently : 1) Would you be interested in attending an in-person event in 2022? 2) Would you prefer a virtual event? 3)What would make you more comfortable attending in-person (mask requirements, social distancing, temp. checks at the door, etc.).?
Jessica Moore
32:09
I would love to have an in-person gathering and following whatever guidelines are recommended at the time. I know this makes it very hard but I would love a mix of outside connecting time (walks, chats, etc) with a mix of presentations (in person or virtual). I love having the opportunity of connecting with experts who can't always make it to Vermont. But like being able to network or brainstorm in person.

I brought this up at our wellness meeting last week and right now the feeling was virtual was the preference. But, I think it depends on the time of year you're thinking. I'm hoping that like last year, we see a dip in COVID in the summer. I think more people will be willing to be in person when numbers go down.
Penny Perry
36:20
While we would love the opportunity to network in person, unless the COVID number dramatically decline and we are able to maintain social distancing, we feel that virtual is the better way to go.

Can you freeze cooked rice? did she just suggest that? I have trouble with rice staying fresh for the week, so it would be helpful if I could freeze into individual servings.
Lindsay Simpson
46:06
Yes! I love this message. "Plant-strong" "Plant-focused" eating.
Lindsay Simpson
47:07
I'd love to know from the group, how are employers supporting their remote workers to eat heathfully?

Thank you so much this was excellent and gave me ideas for my home cooking and also for our wellness program at work. We may decide to have a monthly remote meeting for lunch to discuss food and what we are cooking/eating. Perhaps doing potlucks when we get back onsite (we have some good cooks in our office).
Janet Franz
49:18
Susan White: Yes, you can freeze cooked rice! I often make a double or triple batch so that I can freeze some for later use.
Deborah Kennedy
49:20

Denyse Perry
50:58
Where do we find the recipe? Thanks!
Melanie Rhoads
51:17
In response to the conference - in person, to me, serves a greater purpose as it forces me to step away from my desk and not "multi task" I am interested in person if COVID numbers and protocols allow. A conference I went to recently used red, green, yellow wrist bands for people to visually show their comfort with contact, etc. and I found that a really beneficial tool on top of masking.
Janet Franz
51:31
Can we get the recipe for this chili?
Deborah Kennedy
51:57
Anais and fennel are in the same family but they are different. You can use either one. https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/edible/herbs/anise/difference-between-anise-and-fennel.htm
