What if students identify an unsafe space is related to an individual (student or staff)?

How often is mapping done to catch changes? Students would just go to another location and not necessarily change their behavior.

Is there still a discussion with the students after the coloring to get more details/context about their answers?

We used university social psychology doctoral students to do the focus groups and compile data

How might you map virtual spaces as safe and unsafe, specifically mapping during COVID and remote learning to address hotspots? Is this possible?

Also how does this address the kiddos who have issues right at home?

Kitchen is not usually a safe place because of potential weapons such as knives

Focus groups worked very well as long as they are diverse and everyone agrees to create a safe place to discuss their thoughts.

If the school map is poor, check with police department or emergency management. It would be likely they would have a quality map.
