Congratulations Alex and to you for your inspiration

01:05:01
is there any statistics on the success rates of s2c?

01:05:26
Are there any skills needed before attempting spelling to communicate? Or can you start at any age?

01:05:36
Thank you for sharing Alex's story!

01:05:38

01:06:03
Thank you so much Judy!

01:06:27
How do you find qualified therapists? It seems our is closed to possibilities?

01:06:37
So inspiring, thank you.....

01:06:41
This is the most inspiring story I've heard in a long time. Thank you for sharing it Judy.

01:06:42
My 25 year old is now doing full sentences! Working on open questions right now!

01:06:46
Warrior mom, Judy! Congratulations! Alex has the best manager in his corner! Amazing journey to have followed. Even more to come, I am sure!

01:07:14
I so believe in this method, but my son, age 23, can't travel from Boston to DC or even New York, due to his behavioral issues. Trying to do this on my own, but need some expertise!

01:07:14
That's a good message.

01:08:10
My son is 8 and we’ve been doing S2C for under a year and the spontaneous communication is amazing!!

01:08:11
Is this recorded?? Can I share it with others??

01:08:54
My son is non verbal and I know he can read. Please how can I help him to get better?

01:09:33
Thank you so much Judy! Can you talk about behavioral issues and their impact?

01:09:36
We were fortunate to learn of Halo Camp in Austin, TX that gave my son Eli a "voice" when he was in elementary school. We also thought he did not know his alphabet and numbers but wrote poems, told stories and solved math problems during that week with stencils. Now he uses an iPad to spell albeit with one finger typing.

01:10:17
Can you please address physical aggression and how S2C can be taught when lessons might trigger violence?

01:10:40
Now we are all crying but such an important message

01:11:31
I couldn't agree more!

01:14:45
My son has told us that using the letterboards initially disrupts his automatic motor of typing (which in his case is YouTube) and allows him to focus on spelling.

01:15:14
Judy, I thank my God that my niece found you.

01:16:27
If we don't have S2C services in our community are virtual teaching sessions a possibility or is it best to go through a training so we can teach it to them ourselves?

01:20:07
Thank you Wendy! Love you!

01:20:20
