Patricia DuCharm from Design Quarters
Hello from Scottsdale, AZ!
That’s so true Jason, connected but not too much. I love our reps to stay in contact but don’t have time to talk to them every week.
I am representing Design Quarters bringing top European and Scandanavian furniture designs to the US market. www.designquarters.com
I work with a retailer that pays me a commission They deal with all of the shipping, delivery and disposal of all shipping material. The reps are happy because they are still getting their commission through me selling product through the retailer.
We love going to Market and getting to catch up with all of our reps. We don’t live near our design center either. It’s a great way to get to know each other and for them to get to know our business.
As a rep who researches all prospects before opening accounts, it’s very helpful to vet designers if they have strong online presences. We try so hard to avoid selling direct to consumers. From our perspective, it’s not good business to sell to our customers’ customers.
That’s a great point Jason about opening orders
Great conversation and tips! Thanks!
Thank you so much for your time!
