Our lakes association is interested is getting more property owners to join. What percentage of "lake stewards" have been new members of their associations? Is there any evidence that this program encourages increased membership?

How many segments are part of the site visits, what is a passing grade, 100%, 70%, please clarify.

Does anyone have ideas how to get volunteers to help with site visits?

We have 300+ households on our lake, so as the lake steward for the lake it seems a lot of effort for one lake steward. We have shoreline captains that can help.

For those shorelines that do not pass, is there a program to put together a shoreline restoration plan?

I think I said the buffer is 35'. Some cabins on our lake are less than 35' from the waterline.I assume that they will never pass?

Have any associations done the program without the signs? Or had the property owners buy the signs? When we figured out how many properties would likely pass, we simply couldn't afford it (plus some board members don't want to see them along the shore).

How do you convince a property owner that just paid $1,000s on new rip rap (looks nice, but is not lake friendly.
