Can parents access Naviance? Or is it only for students?

Thank you for this presentation. Will students have a similar presentation soon (and more than once in HS)?

All students receive lessons on how to use Naviance and they can speak to their counselors if they have questions beyond the lessons.

Should parents have a separate login to Naviance or just use their students sign in? Can parents use this to explore opportunities for someone other than the student?

When do you plan on doing this College Supermatch activity with Juniors? Would parents get to see what student does in their Naviance account?

Does Naviance show student support services?

Will Scattergrams be updated to show which scores were not submitted (test optional applicants)?

When I tried to register as a parent for Naviance - it asks for a registration code provided by the district. Where can I find that code?

Yes parents can access Naviance. Please contact Ms. Gayle Evans (College & Career Information Coordinator) for access.

Can Scattergrams display results based on other variables (ie demographics)?

Parents have a separate login to Naviance from their student. I do believe parents can explore opportunities for anyone using the Naviance account :)

It seems like college admissions are not following the traditional patterns in this test-optional world. Would this factor into how you kids/prarents use Naviance this year in terms of predictability data?

We plan on doing the College Supermatch activity with Juniors after we conclude our Signs of Suicide presentations, which we are doing currently. We are aiming for late March/Early April.

Naviance seems to be focused on courses, GPA, and testing, but there’s more than that considered in college applications. Are there resources on Naviance that reflect extra curricular planning and recommendations, etc.?
