I have always been most curious about when and how to disclose (or not) my mental health challenge, recovery journey and status, special needs, etc. Can you talk about that?
John Ferrone

Does it go in the resume, or the cover letter, or both?
John Ferrone

What if I am concerned that I might be misleading people about my recovery status? I don't want to mislead people, but I want to put my best foot forward. Do I just need to get over this challenge and stick to my skills, experiences, etc.?

Do you recommend using the words from the job description in your resume and/or cover letter?

that's a good question, how do we explain a large gap in our experience?? How about if we were in prison how can we be honest yet be discreet

Is this template something that actually becomes the resume, or should I plan to put the info from this worksheet into a different document? If this template can actually become the resume, can we get a copy without the logos at the bottom?

We would be happy to give you a version that can be edited without the logos. Just send me an email and I can get it to you. cafetacenter@gmail.com

Do you have any tools that you recommend that can help me identify my skills and talents?

I am a big fan of introspection and learning about myself. I have found these two tools to be very helpful. This one is free: https://www.16personalities.com/free-personality-test and it also provides suggestions for careers. This one is $40 (I think): https://www.gallup.com/cliftonstrengths/en/253715/34-cliftonstrengths-themes.aspx and this tools is pretty well known among many employers. Doing these before Tuesday the 25th might be helpful.
