44:50
The focus was the hardest. So many distractions

44:53
much harder

44:55
I'm out lol yes clutter

45:05
this was much more difficult. Lauri

45:09
Totally distracting and I got lost at the end:-)

45:12
I can't do this & type at the same time.Lol

45:37
If I was a better typer I could do this for 20 min.

46:00
I got lost in the end, too!

47:11
Right there is a good reminder give cue once - sometimes I feel we get lost in reminders or going back over expectations to many times/steps

47:24
Allow wait time! 🌟 We know it’s hard to do, but it can be so effective in enhancing skills.

48:52
I'm helping my kiddo train their doctors to allow wait time. Teaching them to self-advocate and let the doctor know they need time to think & Process to answer questions. Otherwise the doctors tend to repeat the questions over and over-- which slows down my kiddo's processing and thinking.

50:48
"he looks like a lot of fun over there" HAHA

54:09
It's a hard line to walk between the two

56:48
Visual timers are amazing supports to use with any age! FYI we have time timers available for check-out from the SESA lending library 😊

58:47
https://sesa.org/library/

58:59
I love timers !!!!

01:00:00
This is one of my favorite resources! Parents, there’s some great tips in here for any age

01:00:31
I would like to read this!

01:01:03
NO library card is needed 😄 Remember, even if your name is not drawn for a free resource, everyone is still a winner. This title is offered through the SESA lending library

01:01:11
And glitter. . .

01:08:29
I take the sale flyer and we circle what they might like but you can narrow their list and only cut out what you “need” from their choices

01:08:40
Tasks Galore is absolutely AMAZING! 10/10 recommend. Great for both teacher and parents, appropriate for all ages. Examples listed are broken into steps with visuals, so it’s easy to know how to implement the strategy in any environment. John will discuss the books for each age group. These are also available in our library!

01:08:46
With my children for home shopping

01:08:52
another thing is to give them the list and they can be the director!

01:11:42
Hi Francis, no worries! This is being recorded, I will be emailing out the session recordings from all three summit dates to registered attendees. You can watch when you get better connection! Feel free to share session recordings with other parents and/or staff. We know how spotty internet can be throughout the state, we’re happy to accommodate with recording links!

01:14:33
These resources are now available on the Summit Resources Page on our website! Scroll down to Executive Functioning at the bottom of the web page.
