It would be excellent to see community services hours for high school students directly tied to the Cool Block challenge. Is this in the works? This could be done in partnership with Irvine’s Youth Action Team too. Any way to motive and engage environmental awareness for our teens is a great thing. I’ll help! 🙂🌏

Can it also be added as a program through the local PTA?

This is such an important project and thank you to Mayor Farrah, Merra, Sona and all the others who are putting this together, and pushing it foreward.

Perhaps an education class can be held for seniors at one of the cities senior centers. I work at the Rancho Senior Center

Happy for Irvine. Question : How long is this program going to run and what are the goals we need to meet.

What would you suggest as a starting point for getting neighbors interested. Do you have info for distribution?

How can we measure how successful we are as block leaders?

@ Mahesha: The program is a period of 4 -6 months where leaders will meet around 9 times.

Will those meetings in Jan be for leaders and / or the neighborhood Team
