I am not with inland regional because they didn't know about autism in the 70s I did apply for housing in Riverside county they said for disabled people have a 14 yr wait
Is this geared more for disabled adults? I think this is great. Is there programs for families with disabled minor children? TY

I'd love to know more about having a CalAble account and how that works with housing/Social Security benefits. We're getting conflicting information from Social Security regarding CalAble being considered an asset.
Maybe this is something that can be discussed in Part 2.
What are the qualifications to receive SSD for our 21 year old?
CalABLE is NOT a resource for housing purposes (Housing Authority) means testing. HUD has a Notice about it.
Suzzana this does not currently apply to our family at this time. However, it was very informative and love the power points! It can definitely help with real estate though for the clients you have with speical needs kids and adults.
But Social Security is saying it's an asset that he has and they can lower his payment because he's got money in that account.
