Please share this tool widely with groups and people. There is no other site like this in the country and we are so much better positioned as a state as a result.

Thelma Nicholia
38:10
is the water asst only for health workers?
Nils Andreassen
39:19
Thelma, I don't think so. I think more details will emerge on that low income water assistance program. It should be structured like LIHEAP.
Thelma Nicholia
39:48
great, thank you
Mike Walsh
40:14
Yes, Thelma, it looks like this is for low income households.
Thelma Nicholia
40:29

Steph Berta-MY House
42:56

Mike Walsh

54:55
Hi Thelma!
Olivia Pfeifer, GSAK
56:09
Can ARPA funding can be used to replace lost revenue for nonprofits or just boroughs, cities, and tribes?
Olivia Pfeifer, GSAK
59:24
Thanks!
Mike Walsh
59:38
was just typing that in the chat! thanks Nils
Arline
01:02:12
Does the water/sewer infrastructure funding only have to be through tribes? What if the City government has the water sewer?
Nils Andreassen
01:03:00
Water/sewer infrastructure can be tribes or cities/boroughs. All of them have that as allowable expenditures. Funding to tribes is much more than that to cities, so there's that to consider. We're encouraging partnerships!
Amber Sward, BFit&Well Anchorage
01:03:46
could we have the link?
smitchell
01:04:05
is there a deadline for the NEUs to respond/apply for the CSLFRF/ARPA fund allocation?
Lisa Busch
01:05:24
Heidi, Can you tell us about education funds available for non profits from the State?
Susan Kessler
01:09:30
None of this is a free for all for funding recipients and non-profits, it is a little overwhelming to decide how to manage and prioritize these opportunities!
Mike Walsh
01:11:12
Susan, yes - that's why sharing the ARPA website is so important! alaskaarpa.org

Laurie Wolf
01:16:55

We also know anecdotally that Juneau and Sitka local governments prioritized partnering with nonprofits in their relief funding. It does not fully explain relief but we want to celebrate the partnerships at play
Karen Benning
01:37:44
The graphic that showed the impacts on smaller vs larger nonprofits was so telling, and they'll clearly need even more support to help them recover.
Amber Sward, BFit&Well Anchorage

Ginger Bear
01:43:27
We are looking for funding to build space for our homeless, disaster survivors, and cold weather families. Rep. Don Young is advocating a "tiny town" and we would like to partner with Wasilla Homeless Committee to build their Hope Village and put our Family Navigation Center on the same property
Laurie Wolf
01:43:30
great reminder Mike - these funds will come over multiple years
