https://climate.colostate.edu/drought/weeklypics/BlueMesa.png so much draw down in 2021. Even with the bump up this spring, not enough for recovery. I would say releases last year had a huge impact!
Beverly Richards, UGRWCD
01:22:18
I think that combined with dry soils and low precipitation, the 36,000 af released out of Blue Mesa had an impact, but we have failed to recover due over the course of the year since that happened.

Tellluride has been getting a lot of pressure to accept "artificial turf" as a turf replacement. As all probably know, this is not an ideal option. Is there any guidance/thought on this on the state level?
Sam Stein, CWCB
01:29:57
Hi Karen, under HB 22-1151, artificial turf is not covered as viable replacement for Turf under the State program.
Sam Stein, CWCB
01:30:36
Hopefully that helps to give Guidance for your program

Wow! Hotter than asphalt too?!
Greg Fisher
01:33:26
Great job. Looking forward to the new program. I think there are going to be multiple benefits beyond water savings, like lowering temperatures, storm management, etc. Are you planning to measure some of these things too?
Greg Fisher
