For employees previously positive for Covid-19 do they have more time to comply with vaccine Mandate?

41:33
@Heather--thank you for this question. With questions on the vaccine mandate we are asking people to please give us their email or you may email the check imms email inbox. This way we can give the most current information based on the question you have. With things ever changing we like to ensure that we are reviewing and providing the best information, and with vaccine mandate information we always like to go back and review, as this is an area that we do not work in that often. Thank you. I will post the check imms email inbox in just a second.

Link to the NEW MDHHS document on COVID Vaccines. It reviews all the COVID vaccines and gives key points to help reduce errors. It is an excellent document: https://www.michigan.gov/documents/mdhhs/COVID-19_Resource_Guide.--Each_Vaccine_1-13-22_Final__745769_7.pdf

Has there been any talk on 2nd boosters?

55:57
This is the NEW resource! I just share the link in the chat. Please take a look at it. :)

57:49
@Kim--great question and we have not heard anything about 2nd booster doses yet. I know they are talking about the age group 0-4 years and also talking about vaccine effectiveness against the Omicron variant. We will keep the providers of Michigan updated as we hear more on these topics and anything new. Thank you!

Are there any screening tools available to aid in deciding if a patient is moderately to severely compromised?

01:02:10
Will publication dates be clearly posted so one can be sure this is the most recent ?

While answering calls for the vaccine hotline last spring, I found that most people I spoke with did not know they were immunocompromised. I made it a point to list conditions that made them immunocompromised.

01:09:15
There are medications alone that can make someone immunocompromised.
