48:34
all of the poet's books can be purchased through the publisher - 3: A Taos Press or your local indie bookstore

49:50
The imagery and language is so strong and beautiful. Wonderful poems!

01:03:26
Given this subject matter, I want to recommend Olga Tokarczuk’s newest book, a novel, The Books of Jacob. The culture of gematria, Kabbalah, and the Zohar, in other words, Hasidism, are placed in a context of one sort. A little heavy on description for me, it is a very clever book.

01:06:19
Lovely, Dale.

01:06:45
Dale, such lush poems! Thank you.

01:06:49
Yes, Richard Howard!

Hardest people for me to read in. Front of are family members. I love reading to poets.

01:34:48
The Paris Review Redux has an In Memoriam on Richard Howard today.

01:35:37
I love the variety. Did each writer have their theme ahead of their writing, or was the topic discovered, say, midway?

01:35:42
of course. well said

01:36:55
Reading as a writer is very important to learning craft. I am always appreciative of strong work. It helps me grow.

01:39:24
Thanks for an inspiring performance!

01:39:29
Beautiful readings, everyone. Have a good night.

01:39:43
Thank you Emily. I enjoyed hearing your poems. I have one math poem, and math served the theme of the poem.

01:40:30
Dale, I so relate to translating image to text.

01:41:27
I experience what we often call “the poet’s obsession” as love.

01:42:02
I related translating image to text. That is how I begin a poem.

01:42:28
YES. Me too,

01:43:03
Dom actually hooked me into a cups and balls group on Facebook.

01:43:37
Fascinating answers about your craft, thanks!

01:43:56
To Dom, Poet as a Magician, poetry as an illusion?

01:44:32
I put them aside for later animation

01:46:36
Less experienced readers think persona poems are personal. That's a challenge.

01:48:10
Aphorism: How can I know what I know until I see what I say?
