Who can see your viewing activity?
robotics is where childcare is now?
LOVE the moveable power drops
Thank you, Jesse! :)
I do like the concept of workspaces within the classroom with shared screens for collaboration.
Definitely - student work, eye-catchers, etc
I love the glass cafeteria & the connection of the two parts of the building! :) CTE has its own section but is still connected. It looks good.
I agree with Paul. The physical transparency is inviting...
Literally a 'window' for students to see themselves working on things they so often believe they can't do.
Yes I did not like that either, at all !
The radio station, or student stream when it happens, should be playing in that space 24/7.
That’s a big question at this point still. We’re still working on getting transportation for the kids who were just districted into the North area… so far kids are still having to transfer downtown. Need direct buses for FT kids first!
The answer to that question could also be important to AP students who are supposed to be guaranteed a number of hours of in-class time for their projects/work/learning.
I want to be sure that the materials used (to the greatest extent possible) do not fade or stain--or can easily be cleaned to like-new. I do not want to see 2-years later for there to be stained grout for instance...
That’s correct re ADM, Lynne - same as when we have a kid do Online for an hour.
So all high schools will be on a block schedule?
Principals have not discussed it in that way, Lynne.
Metro Transit proved they could run a bus to the school morning and night for at least two months this year.
So some programming IS staying at the other schools?
That’s true for some students, but not for IBCP or IBDP students
One last comment: Language is EVERYTHING
I think that videoconference friendly spaces will be important for project work with students coming and going from across the district. Options for project team members to engage from home school for non class time collaboration or stay onsite at north to take a class at home school via video and then continue to work with project teams.
We did not see that last night
