Rita can you speak up a bit or turn your volume up? Thanks.

17:51
I can not hear

18:30
It is also hard to see the small screen with the double screen.

18:36
Please move closer to your speaker

18:37
Maybe adjust your headset mic

18:50
I have my volume turned all the way up and can just barely hear her.

19:10
It may help if she increases her volume within Zoom. She can go to the microphone icon, click on the arrow, and select audio settings. Then, she can increase microphone volume.

19:17
It's tough to hear her.

19:31
I'm hearing Rita ok, too, but I turned my volume up high.

19:40
I can hear ok

21:35
Perfect!

21:38
The volume is low for me but steady. With my controls turned up I can hear you just fine.

21:40
That is the correct view.

31:29
How do we stop using stigmatizing language?

31:37
I am interested in learning more about the Radford Arsenals air pollution rates in the area

31:48
Lots of "abuse" language in the presentation.

31:56
Is there an action plan to address the inequities?

35:05
Thank you

35:07
I am interested just due to the high rates of tuberculosis and cardiovascular disease in the areas. Scientific literature will show that tuberculosis and heart disease can be brought on by particulates in the air pollution that can clog arteries. I am wondering about follow up to the Montgomery county's mystery mortality rate article.

37:15
Another item on my "wish list" is to include some of the YRBS questions in the MCPS school climate survey to get more timely and actionable information. It takes too long to get the national results back.

37:58
YRBS?

38:19
thank you!

39:11
Youth Risky Behaviors Survey

39:50
Sorry, I really try to avoid undefined acronyms.

39:55
Agreed Laura on YRBS

47:46
Are we taking steps to facilitate Medicaid billing by MCPS for services delivered in our schools?

48:30
And/or billing by HHS for services delivered in schools.

01:06:24
How are we addressing health inequity among the Asian population? Such as a culturally tailored diabetes education program. I noticed the proposed Y23 budget designates $1.2 million to the AAHI compared to the African American at $2.9 and Hispanic Health at $2.2 million. The African American Health Initiative has a lot of health related support including diabetes. There is also a Spanish diabetes program in the county. The Healthy People 2030 has an overarching goal to eliminate health disparities and achieve health equity. MC is not achieving health equity by not having a diabetes program that is tailored to the Asian population and not providing adequate funding compared to other ethnic groups.

01:06:37
Laura, we will follow up regarding the HHS/PHS support to Medicaid billing to MCPS for school-based services. We do not provide direct Medicaid billing support to MCPS; however, there may some support via our School-based health and wellness centers or other HHS service areas. Please send us your email and we will follow up with you and provide a response to our participants today. Thank you for your questions.

01:07:03
Please feel free to join MCCPTA health fairs that we wrap around vaccine clinics at MCPS schools and elsewhere. It's a great community outreach and education opportunity. We have one Saturday at Paint Branch High School. Will the Chronic Care Model method when used in the doctors office, be reimbursed by insurance??

01:17:17
Any planned County support for orgs that want to stand up a DPP course? Manna is interested as we see this as a great connection to providing healthful food assistance.

01:17:48
I will be there with Dr. McKnight. Please let us know when you have another event and we will participate w/ an info. table.

01:22:19
What efforts are made to make information available to individuals , esp. older adults who do not have access to technology or have difficulty using technology .Thanks for all you do!

01:25:10
The Chronic Care Model is an approach for providing care for persons with chronic diseases. No reimbursement for this. Chronic Care Management is reimbursed by insurance.

01:25:17
How can we get the Health Report?

01:25:51
Happy to discuss more Jenna about partnering on a DPP course.

01:26:41
Have you developed an MOU with MCPS to be in the schools, in the wellness centers, to test and counsel on STIs and HIV prevention and treatment options? That would be very helpful.

01:27:56
HHS' Aging & Disability team continues to make information available to older adults. Our Public Health team works closely with them to ensure the same for older adults.
