State: To increase the number of sites for affordable housing in CA, would you support a Statewide zoning overlay that would allow churches to build affordable housing on church property by right? (This would forgo the high expense and lengthy delays involved in having to apply for zoning changes, etc.)

What motivated you to run for the Assembly?

The IHSS program serves appro. 500,000 Seniors and people with disabilities, Right now we bargain with each county for wages and benefits. Would you support statewide bargaining

What cities in Placer County will you be representing in Senate District 6?

Sheridan, Roseville, Rocklin, Granite Bay, Newcastle

A woman I know is currently a patient inGenerations (formerly Sienna) here in Auburn There are no assistant living accommodations in Placer County for her since she is a Medi Cal patient. She makes a little in Social Security but does not have the funds for 24 hr. care. I've been told that Placer County is not a "hot spot" for this; I guess this county is considered to rich? The nearest placement for her would be Sacramento County - why should she have to move elsewhere for services? She is 92 years old and has always been involved with the community until a recent medical problem. Don't know if you can help, but something should be done.

What are your plans to correct the water concerns that we face in California?

How would you address the Not in My Back Yard attitude of local communities which is a major block to the construction of affordable housing?

We have approximately 3,000 Homecare workers here in Placer County, all working for minimum wage and no Healthcare. Would you support a living wage and health care for IHSS home care workers?

How do you address substance abuse among the majority of homeless that are not eligible for services?

What are your big concerns?

TGI is very willing to create a financial pro-forma and projections regarding income/expenses, BUT HAS NOT BEEN ASKED TO PRESENT IT. Will you formally request that the Supervisor for whom you work formally request the funding projections.?
