What is the most successful tactic once a ransomware occurs? How do you avoid or minimize the ransom payment?
What level of education is needed for a CH Worker? How much training is needed and where is it available? For whom does the CH Worker work, your organization, but what others would make sense?
Would it make sense to place such a worker in a primary care clinic?
The good news is that CHWs are now being used in various health care agencies/clinics & hospitals. Louisiana has submitted an 1115 waiver to get services performed by a CHW (as part of a care team) reimbursed by CMS.
How is the reimbursement paid in a Rural Health Clinic? Would it be part of the AIR or separate on the cost report?
I'm sure it would not be at the AIR. I do know they have put in the waiver that the CHW be linked directly with a provider.
The nice thing is CHWs have the time to assist people directly on things the provider does not have time to do (i.e. check if the person has food in their house, do they have trip and fall hazards, are they at physical risk, were they able to get their medications, etc.)
Exactly, the MCOs just deny claims
The MCOs get to keep a profit % of the medical cost.
awesome conf.. thank you
