The New Online Marketing Paradigm – Finding Success with First Party Data
Description
Opt-in consent for targeted advertising. A looming restriction on browser based tracking cookies. The ability for consumers to opt out of the selling and sharing of their personal information. With all of these developments present or on the horizon, marketers fear a reduced ability to get the word out about their products and services and are wondering how best to respond to this changing landscape. While striking the balance between effective marketing and legal compliance is certainly challenging, creative solutions exist, and refocusing on first party data will likely be key for success.
Join us for this informational and interactive webinar with our expert, practical privacy professionals, and hear tips and advice on how you can help your organization best prepare for these challenges. Additionally, we’ll provide a brief “primer” on the existing and future state of play in the online advertising world including basic definitions and an overview of the online advertising ecosystem.
What you’ll learn:
- How the online advertising ecosystem works, both now and in the near future
- What significant changes are afoot that necessitate modifying your targeted advertising efforts
- A review of Apple and Googles existing and proposed updates affecting marketing strategies
- How an emphasis on first party data may be key to the success of your future marketing campaigns
Ample time will be reserved for audience questions.
