Attention IBM i COBOL Users: API Enablement Designed Just for You!
Some of the largest IBM i shops in the world are built around COBOL applications. Yet, sometimes it feels like COBOL is an afterthought for many IBM i tools. No longer! In this webinar, we will be presenting the latest in API enablement for the IBM i with specific support for COBOL.

The API economy is transforming how business is being done by making it easy to connect applications across platforms, technologies and enterprises. Companies are using APIs to find new revenue channels, reduce costs, automate business processes and provide better customer support. With API support, companies are accessing APIs provided by companies like Amazon, Google, Salesforce, Shopify, UPS, FedEx and many others. At the same time, they are giving their customers access to their applications and data via APIs. In this session, we will show you how you can easily and securely make your COBOL programs available via APIs and how you can call external APIs directly from your COBOL code.

In this webinar we will address:
- Easily calling APIs FROM your IBM i COBOL ("outbound")
- Rapidly providing API access to IBM i COBOL functions and data ("inbound")
- API development, DevOps, Security, Management, Monitoring, Governance, and Performance Considerations

Our IBM i API experts will also be on hand to answer your API related questions. So whether you are looking to improve your existing API strategy or to get started using APIs, sign up today!
