Tomas is a member of the Global Transport & Logistics Industry Solutions team, a customer facing Industry strategy and business development team at HERE Technologies. He has over 5 years of experience in the logistics industry spanning from network planning of the middle mile network at Amazon to in-house consulting at a digital freight forwarder. Having a doctorate in operations research, his area of expertise is a design and optimization of complex operations systems with focus on transportation and logistics. With his team he is responsible for creating industry strategies and solutions to accelerate HERE’s growth in key industries and overcome major challenges in the industry. As the supply chain is getting more complex, he is closely working with customers and partners to enable collaboration and orchestration through the HERE location platform to optimize supply chain business processes and improve workflow automation based on location driven analytics and scenario modelling.

Eric M. Topp is a top-performing Global Transportation & Logistics Executive with a documented record of delivering multimillion-dollar revenues, creating solutions and managing large-scale programs across multiple industries. He has 30+ years of experience in the Transportation & Logistics space leading Operations, IT Transformations and Sales/Business Development. He worked for the U.S. Army, IBM, a startup in Silicon Valley (acquired by Cubic), APL (CMA/CGM), Bollore Logistics, Crowley and Longbow Advantage (WMS/LMS/TMS) before joining Amazon AWS as the Worldwide Head of Transportation & Logistics Solutions/BD. Eric traveled extensively for his previous roles working/living in Europe, Africa, Middle East and Asia Pacific. He attended the University of Tennessee (B.S., Transportation & Logistics) and the Pennsylvania State University (M.B.A., Supply Chain/Digital Transformation).
