Ethics in Grief Counseling

When treating the bereaved many ethical questions can arise. This workshop will address a multitude of concerns including assessment and treatment, multicultural considerations, differences between grief and depression, and therapeutic techniques for use with bereaved clients.

Understand the difference between grief and depression

Identify life losses that impact older adults

Learn therapeutic techniques that encourage expression of feelings and memorialization

This webinar is approved by the Oklahoma State Board of Licensed Social Workers provider #20220014 and will serve as Category 1 credits for all social workers in Oklahoma.

This webinar is not approved by the Oklahoma State Board of Behavioral Health for technology assisted CE credit.
