During her time with Cummins, Emily has held positions of General Manager, Singapore Distribution, Director of Global CR, Distribution, and Director of CR Strategic Investments and Corporate Counsel. Prior to joining Cummins, Emily was in-house legal counsel and worked as a Capital Markets attorney in London and Dubai, focused on emerging markets. In-between receiving her law degree and her degree in Government, Emily served in the US Peace Corps in Niger, West Africa. Nicole Lovett (Responsibility Programme Director @Burberry) Nicole Lovett is Burberry’s Responsibility Director, overseeing the luxury brand’s climate strategy, community programmes and ESG reporting. Nicole focuses on driving systemic change and setting leading standards that ensure Burberry is a force for good in the world. Prior to joining Burberry, Nicole was Director of CSR at Deutsche Bank, where she developed its global community strategy and CSR identity in the UK. Nicole also led Diageo’s CSR team focused on Africa, developing its sustainability and community investment strategy. Mehreen Malik (Head of CSR and Pro Bono @Mayer Brown) Mehreen leads on the firm’s charitable giving, pro bono, sustainability and diversity and inclusion initiatives. Additionally to her work at Mayer Brown, she was the Speakers Head of the Pre-Law Club and Treasury of the Business and Finance Society in Bryn Mawr College in the US. Post completing her undergraduate degree in Politics, she moved to the U.K to do a Graduate Diploma in Law and was called to the Bar of England and Wales from the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn. She is also a qualified Solicitor. Jonathan Freeman MBE FRSA (CEO @CareTech Foundation) Jonathan is an experienced senior leader in public and charitable sectors, committed to social justice Jonathan was previously Managing Director of Mosaic – HRH The Prince of Wales’s mentoring charitable initiative, Government Relations Director at Business in the Community and before that a member of the Senior Civil Service. Jonathan also serves as Vice-Chair of Championing Social Care, a volunteer-led initiative which brings together a broad cross-section of the care sector’s leaders focussed on delivering positive stories and initiatives for and about the sector, most notably the Care Sector Fundraising Ball. Jonathan was recognised with an MBE for charitable services in Her Majesty The Queen’s New Year’s Honours List 2021. Barbara Serra (Journalist and Broadcaster ) The panel will be chaired by Italian/British journalist and broadcaster Barbara Serra, who has 20 years' experience presenting and reporting for major international news networks, including Al Jazeera, Sky News and the BBC.
