From Superheroes to Steel Magnolias: What Pop Culture Gets Right and Wrong about Grief
Description

Attendees will review grief theories and research and examine how those support or conflict with how grief is presented in the media.
Attendees will learn how to integrate movies, comic books, novels, and memoir into therapy to identify myths and build clients’ knowledge about responses to grief.
Attendees will learn how to use virtual sandtray to tell stories and process emotions.
