Iqbal Mian began his sustainability journey on the hospital floors in Wisconsin as a sustainability leader for a large health care organization where his team achieved ISO 14001 (environmental management system) certification in 2012. His fascination for understanding the intersection of the built environment and natural environment led to benchmarking over 200+ properties in EPA’s portfolio manager and calculating over 25 million metric tons of greenhouse gases in scopes I, II, and III emissions. Mian has a background in process improvement and a master’s degree in sustainable management.
