Reading the Coastal Wrackline’s Story
Close your eyes and think about the beach. How would you describe the beach to a neighbor, a friend, or someone who has never seen the ocean? Waves, sand, sun, shells, sandcastles, blue skies… right? Did your description include the tumbled and treasured swath paralleling the waves that are vital to a healthy beach? If it did not, then you need to tune in to our webinar with Sensing Nature’s Senior Wildlife Biologist Jeanne Murphy to hear what she has to say about our wonderful wrackline. Once you discover all of the beach life dependent upon the wrack for survival and its important beachy functions, your beach visualizations and beachcombing experiences will forever change.

This webinar is recommended for adults and families (suggested ages of 7 years old and up).

This program is sponsored by the Friends of Weedon Island. Our Friends support the Weedon Island Preserve through education, preservation and protection of its habitats, ecology, and cultural history. Learn more about our Friends at https://friendsofweedonisland.org/.
